April – A healing, water birth with a hands-off midwife

In this episode, we meet April, a mother of two.

April shares her story of wanting to feel informed and supported during a private hospital birth with an Obgn to find herself feeling unsupported in many areas of her birth preparation and choices.

After “failure to wait” and stalling at 9cms, a csection was recommended as the next course of action.

April knew she wanted a vaginal birth for her next baby and found a hands-off supportive midwife who would see her achieve a HBAC waterbirth with a longish labour with guidance, support and love, ending in an empowering and healing birth.

Listen to this episode to find out more about April’s HBAC water birth.

I hope you enjoy this episode!
