In this episode, we meet Tahlia, mother of two little ones who are less than 18 months apart. Tahlia fell pregnant just 6 1/2 months postpartum with her second baby after a surgical birth.
She lives in South Coast NSW Australia.
Tahlia identifies herself as part of the Worimi / Wiradjuri tribe (the indigenous people of Australia).
She was supported in parts of her pregnancies by midwives from Waminda (who were shown in the Birth Time Documentary).
This is a story of a woman who looked outside herself for answers and stepped into her power to regain responsibility and birth her baby at home, intuitively and freely.
I am so happy to share with you today Tahlia’s story which includes talk of:
- (PAPP-A) Pregnancy-associated plasma protein A is a protein produced first by the growing placenta. During a normal pregnancy, levels of this protein increase in the pregnant woman’s blood until delivery.
- Cervical tear – in the first birth
And much, much more.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!
