They grow up too fast

My babies are growing up so fast. I can hardly believe they’re both 3 and 1! Seems like only yesterday I was dreaming about when they would arrive, what they might look like, their personalities and quirks–and was craving their little cuddles. Now one is going off to Kindy!

I’ve done my best to capture each special moment in my girls lives up until this point. But I haven’t been able to capture everything. Who has time for a baby book when baby is colicky, going through nappies like it’s no one’s business or teething? I wish I had the energy—but I didn’t. Things are a little crazy when you’re a new mum (as many of you know or will know!). Sleep is at a premium and some things just don’t get done.

Capturing memories, the fun and easy way

But there’s hope for us frazzled mums! Recently I learned about milestone cards. What an awesome, simple idea! All mum needs is a set of cards and a camera—and voila! She is well on her way to capturing each stage and special moment of baby’s first year—but won’t lose her sanity in the process.

I immediately decided this was happening for baby #3. As I started thinking more about this idea—I got really excited and inspired. What if there were cards that not only documented months and overall growth but also included special memories—like baby’s guess date, first laugh, first smile, etc.?

I decided to ask some mum friends what they thought. And after hearing these lovely ladies get excited too—I decided to put my ideas to paper—literally!

And so, The Motherhood Circle Milestone Cards were born!
